Save the Date: World Biodiversity Summit Montreal, 11th December

Following the recent announcement of the dates and location of the long-awaited UNCBD COP, we are excited to announce that World Biodiversity Summit Montreal will take place on 11th December.

World Biodiversity Summit Montreal is amongst the most important side events to COP15 due to its unique cross-sectoral approach, bringing together the most influential public and private sector stakeholders from across the world. Based on the recent drafts of the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework, we have identified the most important points of discussion and developed our programme accordingly. At World Biodiversity Summit Montreal, you can expect to hear high-level dialogue on key topics such as:

  • the circular economy

  • sustainable forest management

  • nature-positive supply chains and sustainable food systems

  • equitable access to biodiversity solutions

"Advancing the resilience of earth’s biodiversity and ecosystems to climate change, habitat loss, unsustainable resource use and pollution is one of humanity’s most imminent and greatest challenges. Jacobs looks forward to participating in World Biodiversity Summit and contributing to the dialogue around creating a nature-positive future for generations to come.”

Jan Walstrom, Senior Vice President, Jacobs’ Office of Global Climate Response & ESG.
